Dad's Notes: 
Waco Lake fishing is best for large mouth & white bass, crappie, channel, blue & flat head catfish. Record flat head catfish here is 62 pounds. There are 9 wildlife mngmt areas (2000 acres) available for hunting. There is also a 3.5 mile asphalt hike/bike trail over the dam.

1 Airport Park: RV & camp sites, tent sites, 6 swimming areas, picnic tables, boat ramp, marina & restaurant. $3 per veh.
2 Bosque Park: Day use only, fish spillway.
3 Flat Rock Area: Day use only - boat ramp (free).
4 Speegleville I Park: Camp, primitive camping, clubhouse (rental), boat ramp, ampitheatre (summer Sat 9a-10a special programs).
5 Speegleville III Park: RV & camp sites, picnic tables, boat ramp, marina, restaurant, showers, group shelter.
6 Woodway Park: Camp & primitive camping, picnic, playground, softball fields, 18 hole Disc Golf Course, swimming, hike/bike trail.
7 Midway Park: RV & campsites, boat ramp, picnic tables, playground, swimming, hike/bike trails, showers & phones.
8 Koehne Park: Day use park, picnic sites & boat ramp.
9 Speegleville II Park: Boat ramp, hike & mountain bike trail.

  Drive Directions:   190 east to 35 north. North to Waco (45 minutes). Left on 6/Loop 340 follow to Lake.
