Jacob's Review:
There is a stone tower there that you can go up on. There is a nice trail to walk or ride your bike down, and you can see nature on it. There are some neat rocks that looks like a cave but I don't think it was a real cave.
Dad's Notes:
This 259 Acre perk is the first State Park in Texas and started the State Park program. Situated along one of the rivers flowing into northern Belton Lake. This smaller park hi-lite is the 3 mile trail great for picnicking, camping or a leisurely walk or easy bike ride.
In the park you will find the stone water tower, the pond and river. Longhorns can be seen near the park, and the proximity to Ft Hood means you can sometimes here the tanks firing. Camping, RV sites and primitive camping sites here as well. Nearby Ft Hood, Belton Lake, Temple, Waco. 3 Miles of trails!

| Jacob Tip: Always wear your equipment when your rock climbing or biking, even when your really good. It's much, much safer that way, just in case. | ||||||||
