Jacob's Review:  El Mercado is a market, it is supposed to be a Mexican market but its really like a regular market, except the signs & stuff are in Spanish. You can buy stuff - little presents, Spanish stuff - big hats, Mexican candy, cows skulls, nature pictures, Spanish blankets and lots of stuff. I got this one kind of ice cone with Tigers Blood Flavor and they have these people singing and dancing, it was fun!

Dad's Notes:  A neat Market with a festival type atmosphere! Vendors and booths, along the 3 block mall, selling authentic Mexican flauta's, fajita's and roasted corn. All blended in with at least 3 different locations of live music or shows going on. This is all the outside - inside the air conditioned buildings are hundreds of little shops - colorful Mexican pinata's of all sizes, lacy and colorful Mexican dresses, hand carved and hand painted 'stuff' of all types! Very similar to an authentic Mexican Mall, complete with Mexican imports of all kinds! There are some famous and outstanding Mexican Food Restaurants there as well. Overall a very fun atmosphere for the whole family!

Jacob Tip:   Have manners when you go out to eat - or your Mom and Dad might not want to take you with them the next time they go out to eat.
