Jacob's Review:  You can rent canoes and paddle boats! There is a new nature trail to walk on. Saw fish jumping there, they have Trout here, too! A great place to camp, you can camp in a "camping trailer" (camper) or in a tent, they have covered buildings you can rent too!

Dad's Notes:  3 miles past old Fort Parker makes a great camping location for a weekend in the area! Primitive camping (about $6), screened shelters (about $16), winter shelters ($20) or with the camper. There are fire bins in all the camping spot so bring some firewood!! Make reservations early as they book up quickly. Canoe rental 4 hours $15.00; 8 hours $16.00.
Confederate Reunion grounds are nearby for more hiking and fishing and Jacob say's to tell "y'all" that ‘There is a real cannon there!"
