Dad's Notes:  In the tradition of big things in Texas - Grapevine Mills Mall is a Super mall! About one and a half million square feet of shopping in an entertainment style. Among the ‘must see' are the Rain Forest Cafe and Outdoor World sporting goods.
     Rain Forest Cafe is a cafe in the mall - just your average cafe where it rains and storms in the restaurant - complete with rain, thunder and lightning. The cafe is a jungle - trees, vines, animatronic animals throughout including a gorilla, alligator and live parrots - take a stroll through this restaurant - it is awesome!
     There is also a 30-screen movie theater, and an arcade with interactive games, restaurant and bar inside the arcade.
     Outdoor World - in the parking lot of the mall - is a super sporting goods store, everything here from ski-boats and RV's to duck blinds and huntin rifles - complete with waterfall and trout laden streams running through the store. There is a towering aquarium chock full of record size native fish, wildlife displays, archery range, an arcade style laser type kids shootin gallery. A real shooting range (downstairs), putting and driving ranges - all in side the store. All the sporting goods are laid out - tents set up, gear laid out fore trial and evaluation. Kids and Dads alike can run this store for hours!
