Jacob's Review: You can feed the animals right from your car! - If you have a two door car, the kids can get a better view taking turns in the front seat! Or little kids in the front seat on their parents lap! Or go on a van ride through the park. There is a trail, a playground and a lunch eating place. You can do a fossil hunt and a petting zoo.

Dad's Notes: Over 30 different kinds of animals including Zebra, Rhino, cheetah & Giraffe!
     Most animals range loose, it is a safari type zoo where you drive right through the animals habitats. The dangerous animals are not loose of course, but many exotic ones are.
     The drive through Zoo's of Texas are great for kids! It really gives them a chance to see the animals close up! They get so excited and if you haven't been to one it is a definite see! This one in particular is very nicely done, a large area and really a great time for friends, family even a date!
     Luxury bed and breakfast, and little cabins you can rent. Guided mountain bike tours on specific days - call for more info! Camping avail at nearby Dinosaur Valley SP. Both book up quick - call up to a month ahead for reservations.

Jacob Tip: Definitely buy some extra food - throw it away from the car a little bit around the Ostriches and Emus to keep them out of the car! Bring a camera - you have never been so close to so many wild animals!!
