They are real Dinosaur footprints there, and they are real! If you walk along the river you can see a lot of footprints that are not on the map!
They have camping sites too, these are easy and medium camping sites, because you don't have to hike far to get to them, but you do get to build a real fire. If you want to build a fire you need to bring your own wood! Dad's Notes:
Blue Hole - your first stop. Notice the pipe on the rail - look through it, is 'aimed' at the dino tracks. Take the trail down to the water, walk along the river and see many tracks. Some are covered by mud or leaves and haven't been seen by others in some time.
Fish, turtles and even deer are easily spotted at track site # 2. Stepping stones are present to take you to a trail on the other side of the river. It is an incredible feeling walking the same trails & river where these huge creatures roamed. Camping fills quickly make reservations at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Weekdays (M-W) are not as busy.
