Jacob's Review: This was an old tyme train & they rebuilt some of it. The train wheels were huge - taller than my Dad. You can go in some of the old tyme trains and into some real Cabooses! There's some old train station buildings there too.
Don't forget to go upstairs in the museum - they have morse code machines, model trains & neat pictures from old tymes & some kids took too. Oh and there is a library there for train books.

Dad's Notes: Pretty neat place - there are about 5 cars you and the kids can climb in and on. Don't forget the camera. In a working train station - real trains go by and I think you can get Amtrack tickets right there. The museum is upstairs and has railroading memorabilia and a railroading library with a real live librarian! Don't forget the gift shop. (Also available for wedding receptions)...

		Drive Directions: Take US190 East to 35 North to Temple, on North side of Temple take exit #301 Central /Adams. Turn Right onto Central/Adams - after the bridge over the train turn right on 9th street - a block into the Train Museum.

Jacob Tip: If you see what coal looks like - sometimes you might find it by railroad tracks. But only if you're with a parent cause kids can get hurt by railroad tracks.
