1 The Castle House: 516 N. 9th - built by Uncle Billy Hall - Sheriff & Tax Collector 1872-1884.

2 Ma Ferguson House: 518 N. 7th (1907) house of Ma & Pa Ferguson. After Pa Fergusson was impeached Ma was elected as first woman Governor of Texas. Tours begining soon!

3 SPJST Fraternal Insurance: 520 N. Main. Basement houses the free Czech Heritage Museum M-F 9a-5p.

4 Dr. Scott House: Built by DR. & A.C Scott - original founder of Scott & White Memorial Hospital.

5 McCelvy House: 618 N. 9th (1913) Sand for the mortar imported from White Sands, New Mexico.

6 Windsor Court Apts: 804 N. 9th (1929) First Apartment building in Temple - built by Sam Roddy.

7 Simmonds House: 1216 N. 9th (WWII era) Built by Alice Beatrice Simmonds, lighted candles in windows at Christmas since house was built.

8 Fletcher House: 1314 N. 9th (1924) Fletcher family built and still resides in the house.

9 Woodson House: 1313 N. 13th (1913) Japanese style designed by Roy L. Thomas and built by DR & Anna Woodson at a then cost of $96,000. 13 bedrooms, 8 baths.

10 Train Museum: See Temple Rail Museum.

Drive Directions:   Take US190 East to 35 North to Temple, on North side of Temple take exit #301 Central /Adams. Turn Right onto Central/Adams then use map to go by the houses of your choice!
