Carl Levin Park ~ Hidden away in Harker Heights, Texas!

There is a lake there, and you can roller blade all the way around it! There is a playground and you can have a picnic there, too. I saw a deer in the park, and I saw a Dove - it was a white wing Dove! Someone told me they saw a rabbit there - but I didn't see one. There is a swimming pool - but they don't have a dive board to jump off.

A nice park, tucked away in Harker Heights - A public swimming pool, BBall courts, fishing pond, picnic tables, grills & a running/rollerblading trail w/fitness stations. This park is ideal for a disc golf course (hint, hint Mayor).... A Family pool pass is about $60 for the summer for residents and $125 for non residents. Or they have daily passes from $2-$5.

Harker Heights also boasts a Community Park located further up on 2410 past Harker Heights High School. Athletic/Community park on 62 acres with four softball/baseball fields, lighted walking/jogging trail- good workout since it's uphill both ways, playground equipment, picnic units, open play area and restroom facilities.

Harker Heights is in the process of building another family park on Mountain Lion Road, just down from Modoc. This park features walking trails and a fenced dog park where you can take your dog and let them roam off the leash. The park is expected to open Spring/Summer 2012
