Jacob's Review: Riding Horses is fun & if you have a birthday party you can go here!
The mountain biking is awesome - you can ride your bike in the grass and dirt and go over rocks and sticks and stuff! It's neat when you go through the forest on your bike! But don't go if it is raining cause the ground will be to muddy to drive your bike!
You have to be ten to do paintball - but I wouldn't be scared to do it, and it would be fun, too!

Dad's Notes:
Horseback riding: Trail Rides, Open to the public. For twelve years & older, pony rides for the younger ones. Daily trail rides, call ahead for specifics/current information. Trail riding year round, $15 a person for a 1 hour guided tour.

Mountain Biking Courses & Trails: A number of different trails from easy and short to long and difficult. Also a great place to meet others who are into mountain biking! You can rent bikes there $10 for 2 hours or $20 for 8 hours. Or you can buy one at Sun Country Bicycle (3412 E Rancier, Killeen - 699-3155; Or in Temple 254-771-2004.)

Paint ball Courses: They have three separate courses and a target range. They have a $10 first timer package that is great for the kids, they do need to be at least 10 years old. The first timer package includes guns, paint-balls, safety equipment and range use! Call or visit the web site for other prices, supplies and rental prices.

		Drive Directions: Through Post: Take US 190 West to Fort Hood Main Gate, 1st Ft Hood Exit, You are now on Hood road going north. Continue past Battalion ave, take right on old Ironsides, continue 3m to Martin Drive (near Airfield) turn left. Continue over cattle guard aprox 1 mile to N. Nolan road & turn right. 9.5m to BLORA entrance. Through Belton: US 190 W to loop 121. North on loop 121 aprox 4m to Sparta Rd, Left. 4.4m to BLORA main Entrance. Through Killeen: WS Young North to Rancier (old 439), right. 12m to Sparta Rd, left. 4.4m to BLORA main gate.

Jacob Tip: Wear pants when you ride horse & visit the Horse Cavalry at Ft. Hood if you like horses! Bring a water bottle or some gatorade when you go mountain biking cause you get thirsty! And the best way to do paintball wars is to lay down and hide!
