They used to have hockey games there and I went to some. It was a lot of fun! They had a giant balloon plane flying around inside! You could ice skate there after the hockey games.

You will find Concerts (I saw BB King there), Rodeos, and Conventions, various Shows covering boat, home, car, gun, Arts-n-Crafts, clearance stereo sales, horse and more! They also hold banquets, Ice Skating and other special events! Labor Day - The Central Texas State Fair!

Let's hope someday someone brings back Stampede Hockey! Watching a hockey game - a fun evening of entertainment, the games are exciting and easy to follow, kids really get into it following their team!! Also a good way to get kids motivated to spend more time outside the house rollerbladin instead of sittin' inside playin' video games!!!
