Peacock Archery ~ Indoor Archery Range in Belton, Texas!

You can shoot real bow and arrows inside. They can even move the target up closer for the little kids. They have a real alligator there that you can see - but it's not alive. Shooting bows & arrows is way fun. When you shoot a bow and arrow, put the arrow in the middle of the shooter thing, then pull back and let go, but make sure you look right in the middle of the target that your shooting at!

Now closed, Roger & Prebale have been bow hunting all their lives and they have a very interesting 'museum' setup near the range. It was only $6 to shoot all day - most people bring their own bows and supplies, but if you don't have one yourself or for the kids give them a call and they will let you know what they can do for ya! A great place for a cub scout or girl scout trip!

Bring your own bow. You need to check in at the BLORA Reservation Office, pay the required fee, sign the required agreement and pick up the Archery Range map before proceeding to the range. There are 32 Archery shooting stations. There is a designated walking route that is 1 mile long and has a rest stop and picnic shelter about ½ mile in.
