| Jacob's Review:
You will see a lot of animals here - I saw little frogs, turtles, mud birds in the cliff. There was peacocks walking, a hawk and some other bird that stood on it's leg. Oh, and the fish jumped in the river too and you will see deers there lots of times.

Dad's Notes:
Jacob only forgot 6-8 types of animals we saw there, including Armadillos so close you could chase them (Jacob Did!) and catfish bigger than him - 30-40 pounds. Privately owned camping grounds. Healing waters and great fishing!!! The bass run Feb - Apr, you will catch your limit early! The mineral springs feed into an old hand made swimming pool, then into the Colorado river. All kinds of camping experiences available here - what Jacob would call 'easy' to 'hard' camping.
There are cabins avail (2 bedroom up to 5 bedroom with AC, kitchens, utensils and all) also RV lots, and primitive camping spots - all along the river. The cabins rent out months in advance - prices are reasonable! Of the two private camping areas this is the one I recommend - if they are full you can call the Barefoot Fishing Camp: 915-628-3395.
