Jacob's Review:  They have a swimming pool made out of rocks. The biggest trees I ever seen there too! I went inside a tree by the picnic tables. You can go swimming in the lake by the rocks, there is a rope swing and you can bring something to float on! There is a waterfall and some holes in the rocks that you can hide in - but some of them have water. You can slide down this place where the water zooms down.

Dad's Notes:  A private camping 'garden of well landscaped forest and natural spring fed pools. The 'upper pool is a man-made swimming pool built of rocks and fed by the natural springs that come out of the ground here.
Stone steps will lead you down to the 'lower pool. A natural swimmin hole - on one side fern draped cliffs give way to the streams cascading into the clear water. 70 foot ancient cypress trees, mixed with the with the varying shades of green of the forest blanket everything in a cool shade - all but the rolling smooth 'bleacher of comfortable limestone - bathed in sunlight. Perfect for basking in the sun after floating and swimming.
RV and tent campsites available - but the Krause family (pronounced kr-ow-say) doesnt take reservations so I recommend checking in early - or during the week! Also shower facilities available (no hot water), and bring your own drinking water!
This is the prettiest place to camp in Texas I have found so far!

Jacob Tip:   Walk up the rocks to see cactus and flowers. Look at the rocks and you can see fossils! And you should bring something to float on! Dad says: More camping and Rec activities nearby at Grelle and Narrows parks.
