Jacob's Review:  I like the wood castle thing - it has lots of tunnels and stairs and it's long. You have to bring your bike or roller blades. It's like really pretty & if you go on this bridge & get to the top you should go right & it will lead you to a place that is really pretty view of the river & there is a waterfall & I saw some people doing Kayaking. This is a good place to rollerblade because there is long cement trails here.

Dad's Notes:  A really great place! A big park with hike and bike trails - about 2 miles of cement trail great for bikes or rollerblading, also dirt trails great for running. Also basketball course, baseball fields, covered picnic areas with large BBQ grills. Plenty of grassy fields for frisbee, football, batting cages, swimming pool. A swimming hole, 4th of July fireworks, fairs and carnivals are a regular activity at the green park along the San Gabriel river.
Kids really like the wooden "PlayScape" wooden playground, tunnels, monkey bars, tire swings, slides and stuff. There is fishing in the river, there are some great duck feeding areas - also “Blue Hole” is nearby - a favorite swimming spot along the river with BBQ pits, changing areas and pretty cliffs. This is also a take out point for Kayakers and Tubers who put in upstream.
Also The Georgetown Rec center where for only $25 for 3 month membership you can use weight room, 4 racquetball courts, basketball courts, 2 aerobic rooms, a conference room, a sitter service and a game room that includes pool tables, shuffleboard, fooseball and ping pong (no extra charges!).
