Jacob's Review:
This will be soooo cool - I want to do science classes the most!

Dad's Notes:

University of Arizona and some local teacher and school groups offer fun and educational non-credit courses for kids from kindergarten thru middle school.. Classes, workshops, seminars and more.

Classes are very numerous in content but last year some examples included Bubblery, chess, cooking, photography, foreign language, science, bats, chemistry, printmaking, animals, jazz, candle making, monkey's, marine biology, art, fencing (swords - not dogs :-) bookmaking, paper mache, astronomy, writing, dance (various types), intro to computers, office 2000, computer programming, band and drama. This is just a partial list.

Most classes are one or two weeks in length, are age appropriate, focus on fun and can be either half or full day (usually running about $180/$350). Similar to the price of day care or other summer camps.

Limited scholarships available, taking donations for more scholarships!

Most classes at UofA campus - some at other schools or sites - contact the m for more info.
Jacob Tip:   (You can start a photo album of their pictures!) For better pictures get a lot closer than you think you should! Freeze a pouch drink (like Capri-Sun) for your lunch - keeps your lunch cool and is thawed out (but still cold) when it's time for lunch!
