Sabino Canyon
Walk, Hike or Ride the Tram!

Ben's Review: (Age 4)  There used to be Woolly Mammoths here - and I think that cave man where hunting them. I don’t think there where cactus here because it was to cold. But now there is an Ol’ Swimmin Hole - I think the cowboys used to swim here.
It is very pretty and there is nice mountain views. If you think you should ride the train with the roof, you shouldn’t because you don’t get to see as much nature if the roof is over you!

Dad's Notes:  This is a scenic desert mountain canyon with spectacular views of cliffs, rocks, stream and Saguaro forests covering the scenery. A tram ride, walk or hike are some ways to enjoy this inspiring canyon.
The Tram tour travels about 4 miles, following the usually running stream up the canyon. Spectacular views and a nice way to start a hike - take the shuttle up the canyon and get off for a hike or picnic, either catch another shuttle back down or walk out along the telephone line trail (about 2 hours). Trail maps are free at the visitor center. There is also the 7 Falls Hike and Moonlight rides, call or browse for more info!
