Reservoir Hill & Huachuca Canyon
Ft Huachuca - Picnic sites and a great view
Steve Machuga
Jacob's Review:  Reservoir Hill:You can see all the way across the desert! It is a steep hill if you are on a bicycle but a car can drive it good.
Huachuca Canyon: I went riding my bike here, it was rocky and it was in the woods. If you rent a horse you can ride it here. There is also a lot of hiking trails the main one is easy but lots of hard ones to if you want to hike all the way to the top of the mountain. There was lots of butterflies. It was ok, but I think I saw a wasp. I saw a lizard & a bug in the bathroom at one picnic place. But it was a bathroom and they had toilet paper. It gets too rocky if you drive up to far.

Dad's Notes:  Reservoir Hill:This is a neat picnic site and great area overlook on Ft. Huachuca. A great place to start or end any Sierra Vista Tour - from here you can see not only a great view of SV but of the San Pedro Valley!
Huachuca Canyon: A good hike, bike, horse or 4x4 canyon on post (1 of many). A few miles up the canyon and the road turns to river rocks - you need a true 4x4 to go farther. Nice and shaded trail for walk, hike, bike, picnic or even a drive. If you are going on post be sure to bring your drivers license, car registration and insurance to get a pass at the front gate.
