Jacob's Review:
There is an old cowboy church, but it it new - not falling down. And a giant cross that is so high, and I think a piece of the real cross is there. There is a neat fish pond with these giant goldfish that swim under the bridge! There is a chicken house where you can see the chickens and I think people get the eggs every day.

Dad's Notes:

Monastery, Art Gallery and Museum. Also hosts concerts and events - call for Concert schedule. Open to the public, this is a neat stop between Benson and Tombstone - even just to walk around the grounds a bit. A little piece of serenity in the desert! Many people do pilgrimages to this site from around the US.

Daily Mass at noon, Sundays at 10:30a. There are guest houses, an RV park, a library, gift shop. There are annual events such as Art Festivals. Construction continues on the site. Gardens, paths, art gallery and museum. Even if your family isn't religious this is worth a look! (and you never now.. might put a healthy appreciation into the kids?) Due to the construction and deep ponds they ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times.
