Titan Missile Museum

Ben's Review:  You get to go underground and see a space rocket, and it is real! They took the bomb out of it cause the bomb is to big and it will ‘splode everybody there. They had some good toys there, too.

Dad's Notes:  A little gift shop and museum to peruse while you wait for the next tour to start. Start with a short film explaining the largest nuclear missile the US has ever produced. Then a short walk around the small compound - the volunteer guides are very knowledgable and really give you an idea of the missile and crew.
Travel 100 ft underground to see an actual nuclear missile (without the nuclear part) in the silo and the command chamber. The cost and labor that went into building this silo’s is both impressive and scary. Not much more to see - but the missle is very impressive; and what an effect to sit in the chair and touch the simple key that could have ended life as we know it. Many of the uniforms and effects of the crews are still displayed as they where when it was active.
Tours are an hour, start every half hour with the last tour starting at 4p. An easy walk but don’t wear high heel shoes.

Adults around $8, Jrs about $4 You can get Combo tix for this & Titan Missile Museum for $15 (You don't have to use them the same day)
