Jacob's Review:
A neat fishing lake close to Mexico and Tucson. Good for camping and a picnic. It can be chilly in the winter!

Dad's Notes:

A smaller lake, similar to Parker Canyon Lake near Sierra Vista. Camping is near the cliffs along the lake shore (No RV sites). Camping sites are limited, so weekdays or early arrival is recommended. Picnic sites include tables and grills, some restrooms and water. Bring your own wood for camping.

The 2 mile trail around the lake makes for an easy and enjoyable walk, with lots for the youngsters to discover. Boats are limited to a single electric trolling motor.

The lake has Bass, catfish and the ever present crappie and in the winter trout are catchable at a decent size. There are a lot of rocks and trees underwater that make for great fishing but pose a serious hazard to swimmers and divers.
