Jacob's Review:
I didn't get to go here ~ but it sounds really neat like a cowboy place! I want to go!

Dad's Notes:

An old west ranch museum, maintained and in excellent condition. The 5 room main adobe building still furnished with original items (ordered from the original Sears Catalog). There is a real Model-T in the Car Shed, a cooks room, wash house and ice house. The original buildings were leveled in the Great Earthquake of 1887 (The one that sent most of the San Pedro River underground).

John Slaughter, the famous Texas Ranger and local rancher was famous in his own time - there is a 2 hour Disney movie on the life and times of John Slaughter (good ‘nite before’ activity for the family).

There area allot of shade trees overlooking the ‘House Pond” with BBQ grills available. Bring binoculars and hiking shoes - as you may want to go for a hike next door at the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge.
